Amy Driscoll-Dunning has joined Downtown Music Publishing (Downtown), where she has been appointed Senior Vice President, Creative Services & Business Development, as announced today by Justin Kalifowitz, President of Downtown. Downtown is expanding with its first ever Los Angeles office, where Driscoll-Dunning will be based.
In her new role, Driscoll-Dunning will oversee the company’s bi-coastal Film and Television Music department, liaise with the New York office regarding direct-to-brand and commercial advertising opportunities and be responsible for developing new business. She will report directly to Kalifowitz.
Prior to joining Downtown, Driscoll-Dunning served as Vice President of Film Music for Fox Filmed Entertainment. In this position she oversaw the creative and production aspects of music supervision for films produced by 20th Century Fox, Fox Searchlight and Fox 2000. Selected highlights include overseeing the soundtracks and scores of such critically and commercially successful films as Juno, 500 Days of Summer, Water For Elephants, Chronicle, Stoker, Life of Pi, The Heat and The Wolverine.
“Amy is simply one of the most talented and passionate film music executives in the business,” said Kalifowitz. “Her history of creating some of the most compelling music moments on screen speaks for itself. As Downtown continues to enhance our creative services offering we couldn’t be more excited about having someone of Amy’s caliber join our team.”
