Anthony Rossomando is an American writer-producer, composer, guitarist, and musical director. He has worked The Libertines and started the band Dirty Pretty Things with Carl Barat. He has also worked with The Damn Personals, Klaxons, and 90s ska band J.C. Superska.
Anthony Rossomando founded the band, The Damn Personals, which became a mainstay of the Boston, Providence, and New York indie scenes.
In 2003, Anthony toured with The Libertines on their US tour and later on their worldwide tour for the promotion of their second album, filling in for Pete Doherty. It was during this time that Barat and Rossomando connected and began sharing ideas that would eventually lead to the formation of Dirty Pretty Things following the split of The Libertines.
Dirty Pretty Things released their first album “Waterloo to Anywhere” in 2006. It reached #3 on the UK charts with the lead single “Bang Bang You’re Dead” peaking at #4.
Recently Anthony has worked closely with Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt, and The Klaxons.
