Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding signed to Polydor in 2009. The English singer-songwriter has been making waves in the UK for the past few years and is poised to take the US by storm.

In 2010 she because the second artist to ever top the BBC’s Sound of… poll and win the Critics’ Choice Award at the Brit Awards in the same year.

Her debut studio album Lights, released in 2010 debuted at number one in the UK. The lead single “Lights” is certified triple platinum and reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 after a staggering thirty-three week climb.

Ellie served as one of the performers at the Royal Wedding reception of Prince Wiliam and Kate Middleton in April 2011, supported Katy Perry on her US “California Dreams Tour”, appeared with Will.i.am at the White House Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony and performed at the Nobel Peace Prize Awards in Oslo 2011.

She has written songs on the debut album from Diana Vickers (RCA UK); and also has cuts on both multi-platinum albums from Lena (Universal Record Germany).

Goulding released her sophomore album, Halcyon, in October 2012.
